Anyhoo... this is going to be a quick post, because my baked potato is done and I need to finish making the rest of my dinner. Mmmmm... food....
This blog will include photos, information about local bike rides, happenings around the Dayton area, and other random goodies.

Week 1 Almost Done
Today is Thursday, and that means I only have one more class until Week 1 of Spring quarter is over! Over my long and illustrious college career, I don't think I've had a more stressful first week of classes. This is kind of worrisome, considering that I've not had anything due (besides a really easy Bio lab), but I think the course load for Calculus is what is stressing me out. I'm already behind on the homework, but I think that part of the reason is that I need to refresh my memory on how to do algebraic things. This is going to make me sound incredibly old, but I haven't had any algebra classes since the first semester of my freshman year of high school, 11 years ago. Yes, I haven't done any algebra since I was 14 or 15 years old. I remember being pretty good at it, but apparently that's all I remember. I think I'm going to try to find some information online to remind myself how to do Algebra, and hope that it will help make my homework less confusing. Besides Calculus, my Bio class has actually been quite interesting thus far. The class is over Evolution and Ecology, so this is right up my alley. Right now we are talking about the Evolution part, and a lot of it is stuff I've learned outside of class. Since the class is at 8:30 in the morning, I'm lucky that I'm interested in the topic, because otherwise I would definitely be tempted to skip class since its in a big lecture hall and I doubt my professor would notice I'm not there.
